What is social proof?

Social proof is a social phenomenon where the actions and attitudes of surrounding people influence our own behaviour. For example, a person will most likely choose to go to a restaurant that has a long queue of people. If so many people want to get into that restaurant, the food there cannot be bad, can it? How can this help us in online marketing? We present 11 concrete examples of social proof that will allow you to increase sales.

Facebook reviews. Proactively ask people to leave reviews on your Facebook account. You can import these reviews to your website. This way, people will know for sure that the reviews are genuine.
Google reviews. Before buying, people perform a certain analysis. Ensure that your business Google account is tidy and has reviews. We can also import reviews to the website.
